It's no secret that I have become hopelessly addicted to TV shows in which a selection of stupid, trashy women compete for something - whether that's a modelling contract, some meaningless title, or - in the case of VH1's Rock Of Love - the heart of Poison frontman Bret Michaels.
One contestant of this show defied all the rules of reality TV by being sane, funny, smart, classy and completely genuine. Her name was Jes:
She won, but on the reunion episode she exhibited why I thought she rocked by calling out some of the bullshit in a reasoned, unconfrontational way.
